I keep reading about the Blues being in crisis, can't see it myself.
The facts are:
We been relegated, not the first time thats happened
we are in debt, who isn't
won a major trohpy last season, lets hope we have another crisis this year
I will be watching my Blues playing in a proper European competion, thats one off the bucket list done
Mcleish has gone and the ****, gave us money for him. long live the crisis
attacking football this season, Oh how I will miss 1 striker up front at home. I love this crisis.

Agree with this!

Just don't get the point to the protest? Who is it aimed at? Please think again people! Carson could be innocent! We haven't seen large scale sales! Just a balancing of the books needed to keep the club running properly!!

We have got a few bodies in and have yet to see what CH does!?

Like many others I hope foster stays!! As the deal being talked about makes no sense??

What a wonderful sense of timeing these protesters have. The whole world and his dog are looking for an excuse to put the boot in so we don't need further damage caused by "friendly fire". It's a bit like complaining about your water bill when your house is on fire!!

Fortunately judgeing by the amount of season tickets that have been sold the real "hard core" supporters are prepared to "close ranks" irrespective of the problems we are experiencing at the moment!!

what gets me is why people believe the bad stories but not the good.

example,

the same paper says in one article we are looking at loaning out fozzy for 1 mil cos we are desperate - yet a bit lower down another story says were after a player fro 3.5 mil.

now you have the choice to believe:

1 - we really are that desprate for money
2 - our finances are ok and have been made to sound worse than they are
3 - both stories are rubbish

no the vast majority seem to believe a mix of 1 and 3 - why not believe 2 to be correct - it is as plausable as the others.

We have sold less ST's than last year and those 11500 to 12000 will be the ones who will go week in week out. Hardly a huge number even in the championship.
And why people belive we will play attacking football in every game is beyond me. The best teams play to their strengths and has Mancini said playing "5 up front as some people want will not win you many matches" or words to that effect.

It is actually.

Much more than when we were last kicking off in the Championship.

Last year we had just finished 9th in the Premier, had made a £6 million signing within days of the season ending, and we sold only 1,000 more STs by the same date.

This year .... 10 players were released. Alex resigns by email and joins Villa. Our major shareholder gets arrested. We snap up Bosmans very quickly (don't sit on our hands).

And we sell more STs than we did the last time we went on Tour.

fair play ibstockblue, same here ill be the same home and away, driving to silly places on a tuesday night, love it.

I agree with your first comments and i think people on here are deluded.

Blues are in a mess, big time, people will just sit back and not admit it...
And because there being positive think they support Birmingham City more than the next person, stupid people

I have remained hugely positive and have decided to get behind the board, management, players, etc,etc.........

But I really am at a complete loss over the Foster situation. Yes, I understand we can save on his wages and maybe bank a million quid, but with an option to buy at the end for four or five million quid??? Now, that baffles me??? When we bought him, his reputation was slightly jaded and we gave him a platform to rebuild his reputation and prove everyone wrong at a reported cost of six million?? He had been outstanding and yet we are looking to move him on at a loss?? I just don't get it, and for the first time since the relegation, I am feeling despondent :(

What makes it worse is that unless CH has someone lined up, we really only have someone who I consider to be one of the worst keepers I have witnessed as a Blues fan, in Colin Doyle.
The guy is truly shocking in my opinion, and I know it's only my opinion, but I guess this is why I feel the possible departure of Foster so much :(

I have looked forward to this season so much, just from a footballing point of view, but the thought of Doyle in goal is horrific. If Foster does go, I really hope CH has something up his sleeve.

I dont know what the big fuss is about. I'd still be a bluenose if we were in the Blue Square Premier. I'd look past the negatives and towards the cheaper shirts and ticket prices. :dancer:
